Ahhh Leicester, How I’ve Missed Thee!

Tuesday March 13, 2007

Today Jennie had a morning class. I told her to wake me up at 8 when she was leaving so I could get ready, type my Oxford blog, and then walk to Uni. She woke me up… but well I have issues waking up some days and so I just went back to sleep. I ended up waking up at 10:20! Yikes! I can’t believe I slept that late. Whoops. So I rushed to get ready, wrote about a paragraph, and then went to catch the bus to Uni. The previous night though I discovered something- The bus pass looks exactly the same as last year’s pass which I just so happened to have brought with me. *smiles evilly*. So I might kinda sorta have just covered up the ending 6 in the year and boarded the bus. Ha Ha Ha! Hey, that bus is overpriced anyways! So I made it into Uni just in time to meet Jennie after her class ended.

Ahhh good ole University of Leicester. That was a sight for sore eyes. I even got to see that tombstone that I have a picture of on my laptop when we were driving by on the bus. After I meet up with Jennie we headed up to the ISA office to see if Yasin was in because his office hours started at this time. Sadly though he wasn’t there! :( How dare he! We waited around for him a bit and then decided to go get lunch and check back after that. When we got back he still wasn’t there so I left him this loving little note.

Ha, Ha! Jennie and I then went into city centre to have a look around. Wow I missed that place. It is so big and has so many people and shops, it’s just wonderful. We looked around a bit and discovered how truly 80s the fashion is here. It makes you want to weep. After that we decided to try out the limited “eggdition” of the Mcflurry with Cadbury egg inside it. It wasn’t too bad. Then we caught the bus back to Mary Gee where Jennie lives (with me using my outdated bus pass again of course). On the way back we texted Yasin to ask when he was going to be around. My text of course just had to start with “Hey fucker…” Ahhh crazy Yasin and his cursing. Apparently he will be in on Friday, but he went to Belgium for a few days. He told me not to disappear in the meantime. He better be back by Friday! I might just have to come all the way back again just to kick his ass. :P Well we made it back to Mary Gee just in time to take the Beaver bus to ASDA- it’s a special bus that comes once a week so the students can do their weekly grocery shopping. Oh I missed that ASDA. It was wonderful being back there. I also got the same groceries I always got before with… of course… red Leicester cheese! I told Jennie that’s the true reason I came back- to have red Leicester cheese. Mmmm! When we came back we had dinner- me with my ham and red Leicester cheese sandwich and her with a pizza. We then started to watch the movie Lady Jane, but we haven’t finished it yet, and then we had fun doing more Ireland reminiscing. Can you tell that we both miss that week in Ireland more than anything? Oh and then we took this pic of ourselves chillin on Jennie’s bed.
