One Week to Go
Ok Ok so I didn’t write the last few nights. But can you blame me? Its like finals week but its two weeks long! Ekkk! So that’s why I am being a little anti social lately. So the last few days were spent working on my pots project with Simon and Ali. Really I couldn’t have picked two better people to work with. Simon is the all knowing one and Ali keeps me company cause we both have no clue as to what we are doing! :P The weather was sooo nice the last few days and we spent two of the days having lunch in the park. On the second day we even all laid out in the sun and rested for a bit.
It was just so absolutely nice- like the most perfect weather ever. Then yesterday was even… dare I say- Hot! Yeah, I even bought an ice cream to cool me down… ok maybe I just wanted the ice cream. :P Anyhoo, I attempted to figure out what to write all yesterday. That didn’t happen. I was so exhausted last night too so about around 7:30 I was like ok I am going to take a nap and I’ll wake up later. Well I woke up a few times later but I was so tired that I didn’t have the energy to get up and I ended up sleeping until 8:30 this morning! Opps!! I also had kind of wanted to go out last night too because all the girls were going out to the Uni. Three of the girls are leaving tomorrow morning so it would have been nice to hang out with them more, but then again- I really needed that sleep. I’ve been running on nothing lately. So anyways, when I finally did wake up I spent the morning trying to figure out this project. Then went to brunch at Gilbert Murray. Then I came back and sat and stared at the random assortment of papers and my computer and wrote an introduction. After that I went to dinner. It seems so sad that I will never see these girls again. When I came back I tried to help Claire, a Korean study abroad student, set up a facebook account. Leicester just got facebook, but we found out that it was stupid DeMonfort and not University of Leicester. So that sucks! But I got her msn screen name so at least I’ll be able to keep in touch that way. Well then later on we all went downstairs to the bar or “the jcr”. The three girls were there and we said our goodbyes. Well actually I haven’t said my goodbyes yet because I am going to see them in a little while before they leave. But we all took a bunch of pictures in the jcr. So here is my pic that I got of everyone who was down there. Sadly Genny that lives in the GM house wasn’t there though. :(
