Monday morning I spent with Jennie. As I said before, she was nice enough to let me stay with her in her room at Leicester. I was able to do my laundry there as well and pack for the Scotland trip. We exchanged photos of the trip so I am so excited- I got like an extra 260 some photos! The crappy thing that I haven’t told you guys about is my memory card for my camera. It is so sad and pathetic. It only holds about 30 photos! For that crappy reason I have had to take my laptop with me everywhere I go so I can load my pictures on to it every night. It has been a real bitch. I wish I had known about that sooner- I would have bought a bigger memory card! Seriously- lugging this laptop around is no piece of cake. But if it means more photos then so be it. Well anyways, after packing Jennie and I left for the city centre. She had some things to do there as well. That morning Jennie kept saying ‘why does this trip have to be over???’ I couldn’t agree more with her. Best experience I have had so far. We reminisced about the trip all morning and started writing down quotes from the trip. There was so many funny things said, especially by Yasin so his will probably be the longest. Seriously- Yasin was the funniest guy I have ever met. I only wish I had gotten to know him better earlier on. Well while we were in the city centre I toped up my phone card and then Jennie and I said our goodbyes and hugged. I will see her again at least one more time because I left some stuff at her place. Still, saying goodbye was hard because once we split that meant that all ties to Ireland was gone as well. So I convinced her to have lunch with me before she left! Hehehe. We finally parted ways though and I headed to the bus station. My first bus was to Nottingham. That bus stop was a lil on the creepy side. I then had to get on another bus after about 30 minutes and head to Birmingham. Ok I should say something here- booking my tickets was a little hard to do seeing as how I started off in Leicester and wanted to end up in Nottingham when I am done here in Scotland. For this reason I had to book the extra ticket to Nottingham so I could go to Scotland from there. What I didn’t realize is that from Nottingham to Birmingham there were a few stops along the way to drop others off… namely… Leicester. LOL! Hmmm dejavu anyone? :P I just laughed it off though but it was a funny mistake on my part. Well I made it to Birmingham and had about an hour and a half to kill in their waiting area. At least it felt familiar because I had came through it before when I went with another girl to Cadbury World. The wait wasn’t too bad. I had bought two books while I was in Dublin (1.50 euro each- quite a steal!) so I read one of them while I waited. Finally the bus for Edinburgh came. I was highly disappointed- it was one of their older busses! That bus was the most uncomfortable thing ever!! I tried to do a little sleeping but I didn’t get a whole heck of a lot done. And that leads me into today…

So there really is a Nottingham huh? I thought it was just a Robin Hood thing--is there any turht to that story? (You're the history buff so I thought I'd ask.)
What books did you end up getting? Are they about the area or were they genre books like mysterires or historical fiction or something?
Sorry about your camera card. I wish you'd known before you left because I have a few cards and one of them might have worked for your camera. I'm getting so excited to see you and look at all of the pics!
