A Touch of Homesickness
Today I had Roman Ceramics. Sadly because I had this class, I had to miss the information session on Italy. Apparently, I also needed to fill out some information as well, so I have to go to the office tomorrow to do that. I really couldn’t miss this class today because he went over a lot of important information. We are also having an identification test next week. Yikes! I really have to know my stuff by next week then. After class I went to the ISA office again and I paid for the Paris trip. Yep- I’m all official like now! Yikes!!! I can’t believe I am going to Paris! I never even really thought that it would ever happen you know? So I am really excited obviously. I mean the Louvre? Wow that has to be awesome! After that, I stuck around campus because they were having an information session for Leicester students coming to America next year. I was floored when I heard the guy say that they only have to take 4 classes at CSU. That’s only part time and yet it gets transferred back as full time? And yet we take what they consider full time and it transfers back as part time? That’s messed up! After they spoke to the students, we got to talk to them. There were about 4 CSU students and 2 Leicester guys. They must have thought we were crazy because we were just ranting on about how great CSU is (and sometimes isn’t). They didn’t seem really excited- seemed kind of strange. Of course when the Leicester students came to CSU they weren’t very helpful. They were just like- don’t walk through Victoria Park at night…that’s about it. Maybe it’s a British thing? Don’t they get excited though? Hmmm I don’t know. But all that talk about CSU today has made me awfully homesick! I just miss everyone so much!!! Well it is really late so I am heading off to bed now. Love you all!
