Well its another week- which also means another week closer to the end of March, which also means another week closer until I need to get all my papers written. *Grumbles* Good news is- I talked with my teacher today and she said she could probably get me those articles I wanted. So that’s a yay! I also went to campus early today to get my skeleton assigned to me. Well that just sounded weird didn’t it? Our grade is largely based on a skeleton report that we do. We all get assigned a different skeleton and we go about recording and analyzing it. I’m hoping to actually do most of it over the spring break though. When I went in my teacher (who if you remember is American) assigned me a skeleton and then asked my name so she could write it down. “Did ya know” that in Britain they call your last name your surname. Yes I am aware of this word and have heard it used before as I am sure you all have, but I just thought I’d throw that out there. So she asked me my surname. I didn’t quite hear what she said so I asked her to repeat herself. She looked up and kind of gave me a look like “Oh- American” and said “Your surname? Your last name?” It was kind of funny. It’s like ok I’m not stupid and I’ve been here long enough to know that they call it that, but it was kind of funny. After that I had the actual class. Fun and informative as always. It reminded me a lot of the Human Variations and Origins lab I took last year. I’m really glad I took that lab now. I’ve also learned lots of cool things and I sound oh so smart rattling off some of this stuff! ; P Well not much else to report for today. Hope all is well with everyone!
