Bone Day!
Well today is Monday. You all know what that means! Human Bone Analysis! Yay!! Ahhh I enjoy this class way too much. Well we got our quizzes back from last week. They were non-assessed so they didn’t matter for our grade, she just did them “to see how we are coming along in the course”. I did better than I thought I would so I was quite happy about that. I’m learning something- yay! Oh and talk about learning things… I found something out today which I thought was cool. I have a depressed fracture on my Frontal bone on my skull. That’s what its called! Hahaha! Take that mom- pff and falling off the stairs did nothing to me. So now I guess I can actually say I have fractured a bone before. Interesting, no? I had great fun in the practical part as well. When have I not? We were even able to say “Radius” instead of “Bone!” Hehehe. Oh our education is so coming far. : P A guy in my group and I were working on telling the difference between metacarpal bones (I know- we weren’t just staring at them! Shocker!). Anyhoo- he had written down a list of how to tell the difference and I was like- where did you get that from? “Well from the lecture. You know, the part with the talking that comes right before this, at the beginning of class?” Oh so that’s what that part is for! Not daydreaming? Got it! Hehehe! Actually, I really do take this class seriously and actually do get work accomplished no matter how much I joke about it. ; ) But most of the class involved the students flipping out. Their dissertations are due next Wednesday, the same day the essay for this class is due. I feel bad for them, but as one guy pointed out- “you’re just pointing and laughing at us aren’t you?!” Pretty much. LOL. Naw- I really do feel terrible for them. Oh and talking about the essay, I have gotten further. Yes, that doesn’t actually mean I have actually started writing it yet, but I am working on it! Baby steps. Hmmm I could have sworn I had more for you guys today but sadly I can’t remember what! Oh- I remember now. This morning the lady in Wales that I will be visting called. She had to switch the date of my visit so I will be going the end of April. Wales, exciting! She seemed very nice too so that was nice to know. Also, random thought- the Welsh accent is so cool. Oh heck, what am I saying? I love all the accents around here- Scottish, Welsh, Irish (major swoonage!), and all the different English accents as well of course! Ok, well I am outta here. I hear you guys are getting some crazy snow back in CO, so be safe! Love ya all!
