Yay! Traveling!
Today I actually got up in time for hot breakfast! Yay! I even managed to snag on of the last yoghurts so I could save it for later. Double yay! Then today I had the class Roman Ceramics. It was pretty interesting and I am quite excited to get started on my project when he finally gives it to us. Although, I was mortified when I realized it needs to be 5000 words! Yikes! My 10 page paper I did last semester was only 3000 words so I don’t even want to know what that means for this paper. But it is our only paper in the class so that’s defiantly good. After class I went over to the ISA office, which was actually open this time. While I was there I joined ISA and signed up for this Saturday’s trip and next Saturday’s trip. This Saturday we are going to Windsor Castle and next Saturday we are going to Bath. So I am pretty excited about that- I will actually get to see more of England than Leicester. Also, it turns out that they do different week long trips during our 5 week spring break, so I might do one of those. I’ll check it out when it gets closer. Very cool! Then since I decided I want to actually have money while I am here I decided to plan out all of my spending and write down every purchase I make so I don’t go over my budget. Very organized of me, isn’t it? I know! I was as shocked as you all probably are! I still haven’t gone to ASDA like I have been wanting to lately. Its just been way too cold lately! So I have my fingers crossed that I actually go tomorrow. We shall see though. Ok you know what is sad? I actually took some pics today, but I can’t upload them tonight. Its way too late, but hopefully I will do it tomorrow morning and they might already be up by the time you guys read this. That is if I don’t space them out. Well on to today’s did ya know- Did you know that they count floors different here? So it goes the ground floor then the first floor then the second and so forth. Unlike in America where the ground floor is the 1st floor. Yep it is very confusing. Even when you are talking to a fellow American you always have to go- ok did you mean the British 2nd floor or the American 2nd floor? Ahhh random little differences that are oh so fun to get used to! Well I hope everyone is doing great back in the States! Did you all enjoy Bush’s presidential address? Don’t be having too much fun without me!
