Ok so to answer some questions…ASDA is part of the “Wall-mart family”, but it is more like a big grocery store. About 70 percent of it is groceries and the other 30 has other things like clothes and household items. So it’s a nice place to get just about anything. Now about the parking…I really don’t know about it. I don’t think it is illegal because it is very commonplace. You see a lot of cars parking like this. With no room on the street I guess that’s just what they have to do! Huh. Anyhoo- my day. I’m sure you all care very much! : P Well I didn’t have class, but I did go to campus. I got a nasty letter from the accomidation office saying I hadn’t paid yet. So obstacle number one- finding the stupid office! I thought it was the office in the student union, but apperantly the office in the union labeled “accommodation” isn’t the same one. Hehehe…that was fun to learn. So once I was in the right building I had to locate where the office actually was. After finally figuring out that it was one the 7th floor, I trudged up the steps. So once I hit the sixth floor, I was like yay! One more floor! Only there wasn’t any more floors. No more stairs. OOOOOO kkkkaaayyy. I am telling you, the layout for buildings here is so confusing! So I went all the way back down to see if I could locate a lift. I finally found one and what would ya know- it went to the mysterious 7th floor. Go figure. Once I got there the lady told me that I would have to speak with the Study Abroad office. Well I had to go over there anyways, so that was my next stop. At the Study Abroad Office I got that straightened out, then I made sure they knew I switched a course (If you don’t let them know, it won’t transfer!), and I figured out what trip I was put on for the break. I’m quite excited because I was booked on the Rome one! Yay!! After that, I finally went over to visit that cemetery! Aren’t you proud of me L.K.? : ) So I got lots of cool pics for ya! When I came home the stupid refrigerator had blown again! Sheesh! But apparently they figured out what was causing it, so hopefully it will stop now. Its rather annoying, might I just say! Ok, I’ve rambled long enough! Time for your pictures!!!!
Ok so one day i was bored and took the tacks on my board in my room and spelled out my name. Hehehehe! Yes I am a total nerd! : P
Here is the Attenborough tower on campus that has those crazy lifts that don't stop. Cool huh? Oh! Also note how clear the sky is! Today was amazing with hardly any clouds. Very shocking!
And below is the cemetary that i went to today. It was so HUGE! It seemed like it extended for miles. It was so amazing! Really beautiful, but it was sad because a lot of the headstones had fallen over. It definatly could use some upkeep, but perhaps thats part of its charm. The picture at the very bottom is an example of one of the fallen headstones. There were also a lot of graves that were so old that all of the writing on them had warn off. Pretty crazy. Also I found a lot of them had multiple family members listed- some had up to 5 people on it! But I must say- it was all very amazing!!

Very cool pictures! The head stones look very nifty. The one with the Ivy looks verry cool as well. Congradulations on your trip to Rome that rocks!
YAY for cemetary pictures! Those are really cool. I saw a simliar family grave set up when I went to New England. Apparently families would buy grave plots because the land was so expensive. I think that's pretty cool.
It's good that you got everything worked out with the study abroad office. It would really suck not to have everything worked out for transfer credits! I wish that I was going to Rome. You are so lucky. I bet you'll have a great time.
